Logo for the European partnership

TRAINS*e

REGULATION

1.

The contest is for all students of the partner schools participating in the European Partnership - TRAINS*e.

2.

a) All projects presented must be originals of the participating students;

b) Teachers may apply if associated with students;

c) Logo copies of existing projects will be disqualified.

3.

a) Projects must be published, by their own schools, until the 13th of January of 2012, in the TRAINS*e blog. They will be numbered, for later online voting in the partnership moodle;

b) Author’s names must be omitted until the final election.

4.

The following criteria will be considered while selecting the winner logo:

. Creativity/Originality;

. Identification with the name (TRAINS*e)|concept of the project;

. Colors used: in spite of being allowed the use of other colors, in an appellative way, preference should be given to logos using European colors (blue and yellow);

. The logo must be used in reduced and enlarged sizes (and sent in jpeg format - 300dpi).

5.

a) The election will take place online, on the project's moodle, and will be confirmed by the partner school coordinators of the project;

b) The election will take place in the week 16th to the 20th of January of 2012;

c) The results will be published, using the blog and moodle, on the 23rd of January of 2012.

6.

The prize for the winner logo will be a compact digital camera, delivered during the meeting in Italy (April of 2012).

TRAINS*e MEETING IN LISBON NOVEMBER 2011


From the 21st to the 24th of November, a meeting has been held in Vialonga (Portugal). This meeting has been organized in order to start a new Comenius Project called TRAINS*e (Timeless RAIlways attuned to the New Stream in Europe).

Mr. Carlos Pérez, Mr. Carlos Otero and Mr. Lorenzo Rus have atended this meeting as members of SAFA San Luís school. The objective of this meeting was to select the different task to be accomplished by each institution and to define the planning for the future meetings in 2012-2013.

The partnership is formed by: Portugal (Vialonga and Mundao), Poland (Leszno), Italy (Sicily), Belgium, Scotland (Glasgow) and our school SAFA San Luís.

Within the project, our school will be the responsible for the creation and maintenance of the MOODLE platform of the partnership among other activities. One of the activities will be the election of the logo of the partnership. This will be carried out by a public ballot.

The next meeting with students will take place in Poland in late January where we will start showing the products of this partnership.

To finish, we have to point out that our school will host a meeting of teachers in May 2012.
